Biblical exercises in the theory of mind

Being aware of what might be in the mind of others is not always a value in biblical texts. Compare the following texts for their evidence of theory of mind or lack thereof, and describe how it is they either show awareness of or ignore what others might be thinking.
Jacob: Gen 32-33
Amos: Amo 4:1-2
Ecclesiastes: Ecc 6
