In lecture #6, language, framing and identity are brought together. For example, social psychology experiments indicate that using complex nouns ("I am a helper") rather than verbal phrases ("I help people") primes subjects to think in terms of their ("essential") characters as opposed to simply how they behave. While this might seem self-evident, it has interesting consequences for translation.
