Wayne and others have raised some of the challenges of videos and the need to ensure the images communicate rather than just translating the script. Bearing that in mind I'm sure this video won't work for every culture but I liked it and was impressed that it uses a creative commons license which means that without having to get further permission from anyone you could add your own soundtrack and captions and release this in any language.

Digging deeper I learned a little more about the channel it was posted to:

KidsHubTV began as a kid’s club-style TV show made in India and Madagascar. It mirrored the local KidsHub groups featuring a Bible story and theme and skills demonstrated by a cast of children along with young adult leaders.

Since then KidsHubTV has become more interactive and created a platform for local KidsHubs groups & young people around the world to make their own videos and share it on www.kidshubtv.com and facebook. Bible story animations and animated titles & music have also been shared so groups can make their own TV programs in different countries.

The long-term goal of KidsHubTV is to encourage young people to make christian videos and thereby share their opinions, skills & talents globally via mobile phones and www.kidshubtv.com.

Great concept!

This also links with http://www.max7.org "The world's open source ministry resource library: helping leaders disciple children and young people_"_

Are any of you already working with kidshubtv or max 7?

Are there other open source and creative commons resources people should be aware of?
