In Paratext one can do a check as to the relative length of a translated verse to its "original". This feature looks simple but with it I discovered this week with the help of Brian Renes how key it can be in detecting:
a. Omissions
b. Text Critical issues (very interesting) between translations
c. Wrong versification of the texts
d. translation style issues
e. Vers content differences as opposed to versnumbers issues
Check it out if you have not or maybe you knew this already. But a very key tool I am discovering for the consultant check. At first sight it looks like a tool for the translator to check if their translation is not verbose or for omissions but it really gives some great possibilities.
