Translation exhilaration
Part of series Work and motivation
This podcast reminds us that work can be-perhaps should be-more than just about making a living. If this sounds elitist (after all, who gets to decide that his or her work will be enjoyable or meaningful?), we in Bible Translation can be grateful that meaning usually comes with the job, and if you are fortunate, joy as well. And from the other side, employers/funders are still learning that speed, quality and efficiency are best achieved through finding ways to make work meaningful and enjoyable for those they employ or fund (once money is off the table).
