Aha, this is what I mean! So, there definitely are 'other' views of God and there are 'other' religions that are not according to the Bible. That is my fear when reference is made to 'African' theology and 'African' theologians as though 'African' theology and these theologians have a yet unperceived view of God yet not found in the Bible. Or that the Bible's view of God is better understood from the perspective of how Africans understand God. I would suggest that there is a separation between 'studying' theologies and holding personal or collective views of God according to one's personal, cultural, ethnic, or racial background, as being different from having a Biblical theology, and studying Biblical theology. It is quite clear that the Bible condemns all these 'theologies' except that which God reveals of Himself in the Lord Jesus Christ.
