"Lost In Translation: The Power Of Language To Shape How We View The World," by Shankar Vedantam

The podcast discusses different ways people tend think about gender and objects in the world based on their grammatical gender in light of the language they speak, how they negotiate movement in the world based on their language, and much more. For anyone who thinks translation should be a simple process of using natural "equivalents" (and for many others as well), this should give them some helpful food for thought.

An excellent resource indeed Roy. Note that while the interviewer is Vedantam, the person being interviewed in this recording is Lera Boroditsky.
