The book is an exceptional contribution to the study of Biblical Engagement. It documents firsthand insights into the practical applications, implications, and life-transforming impact of this greatly creative, meaningful scripture engagement method. With its extensive qualitatively collected data, thus recounting many heartwarming and heartbreaking personal stories of failure and success, the book is an invaluable resource for the academic community universities, researchers, and theological seminaries, and NGOs and the Church worldwide.

As a Bible Society leader, writes Jebejian in the Preface to his book, I was trained not only to distribute the Bible but also to help the community to read, understand, and engage with the message of the Bible. The BSG ministry to the migrants in particular has been one of those main welcoming acts where migrants the Other, have been cared for, catered to, and engaged with the message of hope in a restricted milieu. Needless to say that working in such a closed context multiplied my faith, strengthened my witness, and taught me to trust the Lord.

Hrayr Jebejian holds a Doctor of Ministry degree in Bible Engagement from the New York Theological Seminary. Jebejian is the author of The Armenians Path for Struggle and Existence (2010) and Armenian Diasporan Lives: As I saw Them (2018). A recipient of the Ambassador of the Motherland medal from the Ministry of Diaspora of the Republic of Armenia, Dr. Jebejian is married to Dr. Arda Jebejian,

and they have two children, Vahe and Alik.
