Translation Insights & Perspectives

Translation Insights & Perspectives (TIPs) at tips.translation.bible is a tool by UBS that collects and presents stories about specific translations of the biblical text. These stories highlight the unique capabilities of each language and often give insights on the translated text. I have been working on it for a couple of years (and I’m supported by a team made up of UBS and Wycliffe translation consultants) and have so far collected about 2000 stories that deal with 460+ languages. We have now released a video that specifically outlines some of the ways that Bible translators can use the tool at https://vimeo.com/359167436/acb88959ed.

Please make sure to use the tool, share it with your colleagues and contribute any data ("stories") you might know of yourself.
