The Key Terms of the Old Testament (KTOT) project is pleased to announce the first release of the KTOT tool. It is being released as a Paratext extra, in the format of a Source Language Dictionary, though it is more of a translation tool and encyclopedia than a dictionary.

The download and installation directions can be found at: https://paratext.org/download/#extras\_tab. You will probably need to scroll down the page a bit to find the link to the download and the instructions for installing.

KTOT is designed to be used in Paratext 8. It can be used in Paratext 9, but won’t have the enhanced features, at this time. This is a release of 22 articles, with another approximately 20 articles planned for release on March 31, 2020.

We welcome feedback. Please contact:

for any comments or corrections.

Let me just add our deep appreciation for the extraordinary work that Paul O’Rear and members of the Paratext team have done in order to make this tool work. They continue to work on improvements that will be included in the second release. It takes a team!
