Dear colleagues,

The Key Terms of the Old Testament (KTOT) project is pleased to announce a second release for the KTOT tool. We have added 13 new articles and some slight revisions to the original 22 articles. This brings the total number of articles to 35.

As with the first release, it is being released initially as a Paratext Extra. To take advantage of the extra articles you will need to download the KTOTSLD file and replace the old one.  The download and installation directions can be found at: https://paratext.org/download/#extras_tab. You will probably need to scroll down the page a bit to find the link to the download and the instructions for installing. Be sure that your file explorer doesn’t change the filename. If it does, you will need to find the old file, delete it, and rename the new one. It should read KTOTSLD.p8z.

We anticipate that this release will be incorporated into a Paratext update in the next month or so. As a result you will get the KTOT tool as a part of the Paratext download and updates without having to download and install it on its own.

KTOT is designed to be used in Paratext 8. It can be used in Paratext 9, but won’t have the enhanced features, at this time.
