Dear colleagues,

What is your experience when testing translations with speakers of the language, who were not involved in the translation process (sometimes called "uninitiated native speakers") during a consultant check?
I am writing a paper on how consultants communicate during translation testing. Your replies will provide more data for improved conclusions.

This structured survey was developed based on a semi-structured survey conducted within SIL's Global Consultant Pool. The hope is that the published findings will help new translation consultants considering the most suitable way of communicating with testing persons.

Here you can find the form for taking the survey:

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSec-Nt0Ij7BKrJlISpKdwuhn3hSr2iHhKJBb3KjtfV01REHKQ/viewform?usp=sf_link

It will take +/- 10 minutes and is open to everyone who has experienced consultant checks (consultants, consultants-in-training, translators, facilitators, etc.).

Thank you very much for your participation!

Blessings,

Andr
