We are happy to to share the good news that about 55 Israelis, over the past four years, have completed a rigorous six month Hebrew for the Nations (H4N) Teacher's Training Course taught in Modern Hebrew and Spoken Biblical Hebrew.   Praise be to God!  And seven of these graduates have dedicated their lives to training others or working in Bible Translation/Tanakh related fields.  H4N student teachers have taught Bible Translators and Consultants in Israel (in conjunction with JCBT), Nigeria, Togo, USA, and online.  Thanks be to God!

H4N's certified teachers teach live online with Jerusalem Seminary's School of Hebrew, the English side of H4N and are offering "Biblical Hebrew as a Living Language (Level 1)" starting October 4th 2021 ($600) and a similar course  (but longer and less intensive) geared for Bible Translation Consultants moving from NT to OT language training.   JS's School of Hebrew/H4N, led by Jochanan Löwenstein,  is also offering other courses related to Biblical Hebrew and Pedagogy.  Most of these courses will be offered in Modern Hebrew (see www.Hebrew4Nations.org [in Hebrew]) but some will be taught in English, such as Murray Salisbury's "Unfolding Proverbs" course starting Sept 13 ($450 audit).   For the JS course catalog see here.

For JS Fall 2021 classes, also see the attachment below (with a picture of where JS is housed on 55 Prophets Street in downtown Jerusalem); and for questions about JS, see the the "Discover" section of the JS website or the JS Overview and FAQ page.  JS' School of the Bible launched last week with an Inauguration livestream ceremony that was captured; see the link here and the Program below.  To be in contact with us, please write info@jerusalemseminary.org.
