At the beginning of the new year I was sad to learn that the retail  price of the Bible was increased 22% than what people paid  last year.

I am curious if that if people are experiencing this in other parts of the world?

The cost of most things has increased in many countries. A google search for "increase in printing costs" suggests that prices in many countries are rising for all new printed books and magazines dues to increased costs for energy, paper, distribution, and a slower increase in wages. Bibles vary considerably in price dependent on the size of print runs, the quality, and whether or not they are subsidised at the point of sale. Some are sold at a modest profit, others near or below cost.
Getting and sharing digital Bibles remains inexpensive, (In over 2,300 languages at the start of the year), but many people still like print.

Wowww thanks for sharing. The regions I am talking about are still have people with no smart phones or internet. The only way for them to have the good news as printed Bibles or for a large majority Audio bibles. We have complete translation for  200 years and still several do not have access to it because they cant afford to purchase. Increased prices will make it more difficult.
