Is Bible translation ministry, industry or enterprise? Who were/are/will be the benefactor and beneficiary of Bible translation movement?

I asked the question "Is Bible translation ministry?", when I was studying my DMin program in Bible Translation track with  a thesis and later, a coauthored book -- Engaging Chinese Diaspora for the ministry of Bible Translation. As [user|6819121|Andrew Case] ask about the intellectual property right( of Bible Translation), his question inspired me to rethink about the nature of Bible Translation within the global village and Christendom.
