On Wednesday, May 3, 3–4 PM (UTC), the BT List virtual Hebrew reading group is pleased to welcome researcher Emmylou J. Grosser to lead us in a participative reading of Judges 5, “The Song of Deborah.” All are welcome.

Emmylou is the author of “What Symmetry Can Do That Parallelism Can’t: Line Perception and Poetic Effects in the Song of Deborah (Judges 5:2–31)” (Vetus testamentum, 2021) and Unparalleled Poetry: A Cognitive Approach to the Free-Rhythm Verse of the Hebrew Bible (OUP, 2023), among other works.
