Where have all the Bible translators gone?

What does it mean to be a Bible translator today? Or are we no longer translators but part of a movement for Bible translation?

What do we produce? 

I think few understand the difference between Scripture and Scripture products, between Scripture and an oral retelling of Scripture, between an audio Bible and an Oral Bible translation. Who might explain these distinct items in clear, natural, and accurate language for an audience of donors?
