Dallas International University is launching three international programs this year, with more to come, leading to an exciting opportunity for a full-time dean of global programs (official title: "Dean of Academic Affairs--Global."). Examples of current global initiatives:

  1. AAS in Agribusiness in Uganda in partnership with Bobi Agribusiness Institute, launched January 2025 (English).
  2. Providing half of an MA Bible Translation for Indonesian seminary UKIT, launching June 2025 (Indonesian)
  3. Launching MA in Translation Facilitation Fall 2025 in partnership with ALEM in Brazil (Portuguese).

More partnerships and languages are to come.

For this reason, DIU is excited to open a position to oversee these international programs, especially the administrative features (communication with partners, onboarding adjuncts, coordinating course and intensive schedules, approving travel and overseeing budget items, traveling to international sites, and more).

Full job description and link to apply is here: https://www.paycomonline.net/v4/ats/web.php/jobs/ViewJobDetails?job=26612&clientkey=AEED6AAC662E7AB91FD4AE1A4719E0CE&jpt=287abdfa63a08d6e24aa1e25eabd8d25

Any questions can be directed to me at todd_scacewater@diu.edu. The position would report to the Provost and work alongside the Dean of Academic Affairs--Dallas. The position is open to a seconded member or volunteer. Be sure to read the full list of qualifications.
