Do Dyslexics need specialist Bibles, understanding from churches, or both?
This question is explored briefly at

https://emdc.blog/dyslexia/dyslexia-friendly-bibles-and-dyslexia-friendly-churches/

The post also includes videos from BFBS and the British Dyslexia Association along with some tips for Dyslexics on taking in and remembering Bible content and suggestions on becoming a more Dyslexia friendly church.

While the design principles behind more dyslexia friendly Bibles, would be easy to replicate I'm not currently aware of dyslexia friendly printed Bibles being available in any language other than English yet. Is this an area other Bible societies and publishers are exploring?

In addition to the multiple Dyslexia friendly Bibles in English I just came across the Dutch Bijbel in Gewone Taak ( Bible  in Plain Language ) https://www.ichthusboekhandel.nl/bijbel-in-gewone-taal/ which includes dyslexics in its intended audience. Does anyone know of other translations or editions prepared with dyslexics in mind?

It is estimated that 1 in 10 people around the globe are dyslexic. Many other estimates exist and reported rates for each county vary considerably (as do the reported rates of literacy which often only count literacy in national or regional languages of education.)

For a while there were several Bibles in English specifically marketed at Dyslexics, but little in other languages, until now! Dyslexics were included in the marketing of the 2014 Dutch Bijbel in Gewone Taak, but a new Dyslexia-friendly edition of the NBV21 is the next step in Dutch Bibles for dyslexics.

Meanwhile,  the French Bible Society is seeking funding for a Bible adapted for dyslexic people, https://www.alliancebiblique.fr/bible-personnes-dyslexiques

Do any of you know of plans in more languages? Is their need for more advocacy?
