December Multimodal Bible Translation CoP

We are just 8 days away from this month’s Multimodal Bible Translation Community of Practice session on December 9th at 15:00 UTC - 9:00am Dallas, 15:00 UK, 20:30 India, 22:00 Thailand. I am looking forward to hearing from Ervais Fotso from Scriptura on “Instructional Information in Oral Bible Translation”.
 Join us for a thought-provoking Community of Practice session exploring how “instructional information” — everything from punctuation and headings to study notes, maps, and digital aids — shapes the way people access and understand the Bible, and what this means for Oral Bible Translation. Drawing on Ervais’ recent research, we’ll examine the history and purpose of these additions, the interpretive risks they introduce, and the new opportunities OBT offers to create oral-appropriate forms of guidance for listeners.
