A YouTube channel about Church, Scripture, and literature
Since I heard the Lord's call to be involved in the literary field about 2 decades ago, I have pursued it passionately. I have earned a Ph.D. in world literature, read and analyzed literary masterpieces in various languages, joined the Comparative Literature Association, and shared my findings in academic circles. I've also worked in Bible translation projects and trained Bible translators.
I’ve been particularly interested in how Christian ideas are expressed or rediscovered in non-Christian literature. This new channel I have just started will serve as a platform for theoretical/philosophical discussions of literature from a Christian perspective, drawing on insights from scholarship across disciplines such as linguistics, semiotics, hermeneutics, theology, biblical studies, literary studies, translation studies, etc. I intend to do it in a way that’s simple enough for non-experts to follow. Another important activity will be sharing stories and poems from around the world through the lens of the Christian faith.
