ParaText 8 Training Videos In Spanish

Ok, sooo... if you were to do a search in Google, say for, "videos de capacitación ParaText 8", you wouldn't find much... well, nothing really. Or if you did a search in English for, say, "ParaText 8 training in Spanish", again... not too much that you could leave with your team when everyone goes home after a training session. So, I began working on some videos for our team here in Costa Rica. We just recently had a training with a new member of our translation team, and these videos were produced in anticipation of that training so that the team would have a resource they could always go back to.

Now, their not perfect, and I'm very open to suggestions. If you can use them, great! They're on our YouTube channel. Here are the first three videos.

I do have a suggested use for resources such as these. It seems to me that we can maximize time in training people if they have the opportunity to learn the material beforehand. This flipped classroom methodology would allow trainers to focus on practical, project-based training in the classroom. In other words, if we don't have to spend the whole time on the basics of the how-to's, we can jump right in to applying what students have already learned outside of the classroom. At the very least, these kind of resources can help us to limit the amount of time we have to spend on introducing the topics in class. And really, when the student has already seen the material before class, we can review instead of introduce. While this may not be workable under every circumstance or in every context, it does seem like a noble goal.
