2-year CiT MA in Biblical Hebrew & Translation Consultancy

The Institute for Biblical Languages & Translation has launched a 2-year Consultant Training MA in Biblical Hebrew & Translation Consultancy, starting mid-September of 2019.

The MA in Classical (Biblical) Hebrew and Translation Consultancy is a 2-year graduate level consultant training program consisting of source language and consultant skills training modules. The first 12 months are spent in residence in Jerusalem (School of Biblical Hebrew plus 1 quarter of intensive consultant training modules), and up to 12 months of field internship coupled with remote learning courses under the supervision of qualified translation consultants. 

This specialized MA has been developed in careful collaboration with our translation partners in order to meet the standards required for translation consultants. In addition to the main focus on source language and consultancy this MA allows for additional specializations in oral Bible translation and Biblical Hebrew instruction.

IBLT’s current training programs are fully accredited through our academic partners both in the USA and Asia and accreditation submissions for the upcoming and future programs are in process.
