You are invited to Learn from the Source and Eliminate the Old Testament Gap by becoming a source language translator through the Institute for Biblical Languages & Translation's one-of-a-kind immersive program in Jerusalem.

Through the 9-month immersive program (SBH) and Master's programs in Jerusalem, translators experience a deeper understanding of the source language, beyond that of any program in the world within a one-year framework. The courses are interdisciplinary and experiential, giving skills needed to address the diverse linguistic issues that translators face on the field.

ACCREDITATION

Students who successfully complete the 9-month School of Biblical Hebrew program will receive a graduate certificate in Biblical Hebrew. Qualifying students may also continue to obtain an MA in Classical (Biblical) Hebrew by completing several additional courses offered either on-site or online through our partner universities. SBH and MA programs are accredited through our partners Corban University (through Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities) and University of the Holy Land (through Asia Theological Association).

So coming to Israel has actually immersed me proper into the culture of the language itself and to the culture of the people and to the culture of the land as pertaining to what I read on scripture. So coming here to learn it gives me more advantage than if if I were to take it from any other place at all in the world. The school is actually in the heart of town when we are coming from our dormitory, two classes, you meet people, they are talking, you meet women, they're talking, you meet Children, they are talking. All gives me inside to the language that has interested me most to have a perfect learning because in class I'm learning and outside too, I continue to learn. So it's something good and I appreciate it, I love I love that, I love that it's important to be here because um only if you live here, you're gonna work hard to learn the language if you're anywhere else. It's a couple of grammatical techniques that you muster, The intensive program is effective, it helps you master a lot of the language in a short time and I didn't know it was humanly possible to learn language so fast we're starting to dream in hebrew and it's fun, it's really cool. You go back, do you go to bed and then the whole day you have been thinking in hebrew and you're speaking you're trying to speak in hebrew and so you end up dreaming all about hebrew and I think that's really fun and it's cool because you're still trying to learn in your dream.
